Thursday the 2nd of July is a big night, I have 1 piece in the collaborative art work Ngatahi, & one large piece that will be in the exhibition "Out of the Blue" I can not be there like many of you BUT... If your in New Zealand you will get to watch it!!  Exciting!!

Tips on Art Collecting.

1. Buy Art because you like it & because it moves you, & because it will enhance your life. 
2. Visit as many Galleries as you can, Gallery staff can be helpful guides in your Art education.
3. Get on Gallery Mailing Lists so you will be invited to openings & special Events.

Road Trip & getting ready for the upcoming Exhibitions

It has been a full on week with the Affordable art show Preview weekend in Masterton, a 4 hour round trip, I did not once, not twice, but three times, each well worth it though! As previously blogged, I dropped off my paintings on the Thursday last week, then after work on Saturday I picked up a friend Ronda & we set off over there again, this time was for the opening night, some really lovely work there & a lot got snapped up very quickly, though I did not sell any pieces I was very honored ...

What a long Day, 4 Hours driving just to deliver Art.

Link's, Idea's, & new challenges.

"Innocently Wild"

I got onto it like I said I would & entered the Art Guild Challenge see my last post "What to do next" I had to come up with something that incorporated "Orange, Triangle, Umbrella & innocence" It would have been to easy to paint an cocktail umbrella in a glass with a slice of orange sitting wedged on the side with lots of triangles showing in that, They are designed to make one think outside of the box.
