Yeah for eye of beholder!!!

As I think I have mentioned in an earlier post, The Nz art guild have these monthly masters challenges & I did the "eye of beholder" with Wassily Kandinsky as my inspiration for techniques etc.
Well It WON the most creative use of theme & first place for peoples choice went to

"LIFE" Fundraising Event!!!!!

It is now official, I am all signed up for the Life exhibition at the Bruce Mason centre 3rd - 28th Feb 09, Mark the date on your calender & come along.
this is exciting We "Nz Art Guild members" are raising funds for Leukaemia & Blood Foundation. Some of us are Donating Art to be auctioned & Shaving our heads on the 3rd to raise additional funds!!!
We will also have Art on display from the 3rd - 28th for sale part of these funds are also going to the foundation.

New Challenge

Every fortnight the Art Guild have a new challenge, this week it is "Garden" The challenge is to use Yellow, turquoise & black in it, I have a big dislike for black, so I finally cracked open a tube of black paint, & this is what I have entered.......
